Need to Lead volunteers gathered two weeks ago at Patriot Place in Foxboro, MA for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. There were over 1,200 participants in this year’s walk to raise money for a cure to end Alzheimer’s. These participants were able to raise close tan impressive $320,000. Need to Lead is proud to be a part of such an impactful event such as the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Need to Lead volunteers could be found prior to the walk set up at the kid’s tent where they were showing off their art skills. The volunteers were in charge of the face paint and tattoo section. The volunteers were then at both the starting line and finish line cheering on all the participants as they took a step closer to a cure.
It has been great to watch this event grow over the years. NTL Started volunteering back when the walk was held at Bird Middle School in Walpole, MA, which the Alzheimer’s Association eventually outgrew and had to move to Patriots Place in order to host everyone interested in participating the event.
