TechBoston Supports Local YMCA sponsored by Easton Sports
NTL EVENT
On Friday June 25th a select group of 7th graders from TechBoston Academy Pilot School volunteered their time at the Dorchester YMCA to help prepare the YDC for their summer programs. Need To Lead was on site with the students and it was great to see them making a difference for their community.
Golf Tournament sponsored by Easton Sports
NEH EVENT
Need to Lead hosted a Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, July 12th at the Harmon Golf Center in Rockland, MA. This event benefited the NEH Scholarship Fund which provides tuition assistance to players whose families have experienced financial hardship.
Hemophelia Walk sponsored by Easton Sports

Need To Lead volunteers joined the New England Hemophelia Foundation at Bird Park in Walpole to kick of their 1st annual Walkathon to help raise money and improve the quality of life for persons with bleeding disorders and their families through education, support and advocacy. Congratulations on a great day, they raised over $100,000!
Passion Plunge sponsored by Easton Sports

Need To Lead was ready to go at the front line of the Passion Plunge! Congratulations to all of the volunteers and plungers for a great day. The NTL team raised $3670 for the Mass Special Olympics. We would like to wish all of the Olympic athletes the best of luck as they move forward this Spring and Summer for their Olympic events.
My Brothers Keeper Toy Drive sponsored by Easton Sports

A special thank you to the Walpole Express for donating their team vans to help the volunteers deiliver toys to the local families in need. NTL Volunteers spent the day before Christmas delivering toys collected during our 3rd annual My Brother's Keeper Toy Drive.
Cradles to Crayons Clothing Drive sponsored by Easton Sports

Spring of 2009 Need To Lead teamed up with Cradles To Crayons and collected over three thousand books for local children in need. It was one of the largest donation of books they had ever received. Following that successful event, NTL once again teamed up with Cradles to Crayons. This time gathering clothing for the less fortunate.
Alzheimer's Memory Walk sponsored by Easton Sports
NEH EVENT
40 Need to Lead student volunteers converged on Bird Park in Walpole, MA to cheer on several hundred walkers participating in the annual Neponset Valley Alzheimer's Walk. Student volunteers from Need to Lead once again assisted in every aspect of the event including, set up, food and water service, face painting, games for children, cheering on the walkers, and clean up at the end of the day's events.

On June 29, 2009, Need to Lead hosted a U-18 golf tournament at the Harmon Club in Rockland, MA. 50 Northeast Elite Hockey players and their friends showed up to play in support of the NEH Scholarship Fund. We raised $2500 dollars for the scholarship fund allowing Need to Lead to sponsor an NEH player in the upcoming season.
Cradles to Crayons Book Drive

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Cradles to Crayons Book Drive! It was a huge success. Thanks to all of the families for donating their time and their books. The Total count was over 2500 books collected for Cradles to Crayons.
My Brothers Keeper Toy Drive

NEH PLAYERS spent the last 2 weeks volunteering their time for My Brother's Keeper toy drive. Many players spent hrs at the drop off table over the past 2 weeks collecting toys and handing out flyers to show their support for a very worthy cause.
Jolly Jaunt

NEH players and parents spent Saturday Dec 6th supporting the Special Olympics at the Jolly Jaunt in Taunton. Hundreds of runners and walkers braved the cold and NTL/NEH volunteers worked water stations and help set the course to help raise money for Special Olympic athletes across New England.
Alzheimer's Memory Walk

A rainy and windy Sunday morning did not stop thousands of walkers or NEH players from volunteering their time in support of the Alzheimer's foundation annual Memory Walk. The NEH players from the Mite, Pee Wee, Bantam and High School Division spent their time cheering on walkers, providing support to the set-up crews and...
