Rob Reilly visited the Sheehan School fifth graders on June
12, 2009 sharing the core values and mission of Need To
Lead with students. Rob shared stories and photos of Need
to Lead volunteer events with the fifth graders as a way
to impress upon them the importance of volunteering in their
community, as well as the inherent personal benefits gained
through this commitment. Tim McWade, recent graduate of
Xavarian Brothers High School, shared his own experiences
as a volunteer and student coordinator for Need to Lead.
The Sheehan School students received Rob and Tim enthusiastically
and have pledged to develop a class-wide volunteer project
as they enter middle school. Rob will be following up in
Fall of 2009 with this group of students to facilitate their
work.
